in your feed. It's an over hour long interview with David Leo Pepe, the lead singer of Gang

of Youths. Mutele and I talked to him when the tour passed through New York and Philly

a couple of months ago. Gang of Youths is an awesome, awesome Australian band that I got

turned on to during the pandemic when someone sent them in as a suggestion for the Carl Landry

Record Club segment of rights to Ricky Sanchez. Now Carl Landry Record Club is its own

podcast. Mutele and I do it every week. We mostly talk about two albums every week, an

album that Mutele or I love and an album that a listener loves. The goal is to get turned

on to new music the old fashioned way when someone tells you about them and what they like

about it. And it's been away from me. It's been away from Mutele and it's been away

for listeners to really find out about things you didn't find out before or sometimes just

listen to people talk about something that you already love. It's a lot of fun. You can

earlier episodes. One of the early ones. We did, so I do a basketball podcast, a popular

basketball podcast and the pandemic happened and there was no more basketball. So we had

to come up with things to talk about and we decided every week to do, we would have a

listener suggestion to the album and we would just listen to it and talk about it.
