Summary

When you visit Walt Disney World, one of the most important decisions is deciding which attraction to visit first. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, I usually recommend that you head straight to Flight of Passage first thing in the morning (unless you are able to get a FastPass+). In fact, it's usually best to show up at least 30 minutes before the park opens in order to reduce your wait time in the standby queue. In this bonus episode, I'll take you with me for a full ride through Flight of Passage at rope drop. We'll enjoy the ambiant sounds as you walk with me through the queue and then hop on the back of an Ikran (aka a banshee) and take an exhilarating flight through the Valley of Moara in Pandora, the World of Avatar. Want to skip the line? Skip ahead to 42 minutes. When you visit Disney's Animal Kingdom or the other Disney Parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or even Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park), what are the attractions you like to head to first? Send me your feedback via email or through direct or public message at any of the following and [with your permission] I'll include your message in a future show: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerAudio Please also join our Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/imagineerpodcast/ and invite your friends to join as well. I'm your host, Matthew Kroll, and this is our second ever bonus episode of the Imagineer

1:04.3

In our first bonus episode, we talked about Expedition Everest, Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.

In our second bonus episode, we're going to talk about another attraction at Disney's Animal

1:19.4

e-ticket attraction, Flight of Passage, over at Pandora, the World of Avatar.

1:24.5

And I know what you're probably thinking, hey Matt, we covered

1:27.7

Flight of Passage already back in episode 10. And you're right, we did cover Flight of Passage.

1:32.9

We went through a binaural recording of the attraction, but on a recent trip to Walt Disney

World, I had the chance to, for the first time ever, rope drop at Flight of Passage. Previously, I'd either done it in the middle of the day or the end of the day, but this was the first time ever, rope drop at Flight of Passage.

1:47.7

Previously, I'd either done it in the middle of the day or the end of the day, but this was the first time where I really went to Disney's Animal Kingdom early, brought my headphones

with me, and recorded what it's like to rope drop Flight of Passage.

So in today's episode, we're going to listen back to that recording, and it'll give you a really

great idea of what it's like to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom first thing in the morning and visit

2:08.9

Flight of Passage. Specifically, one thing I could tell you is that we did arrive at Disney's

Animal Kingdom at about 8.30 in the morning, and what's important to know about that is for the most part, if you arrive to Disney's Animal Kingdom at about 8.30 in the morning. And what's important to know about that

is for the most part, if you arrive to Disney's Animal Kingdom about 30 minutes before the park is
