really came to a very clear point of view which is is that if NWSL can interfere with the free

agency rights of Trinity Rodman, they can do it to anyone. And we won't stand for that.

of the NWSL Players Association here with us to discuss the latest on the Trinity Robin News. Megan, how are you doing? I'm all right. Sam, it's always good to see you. Thank you for having me on. It's great to see you too. Thank you so much for being here. So I want to dive right in. Trinity Rodman has been a star of the NB Selle and the Washington Spirit since her very first professional season in 2021. She won rookie of the year and led the spirit to a championship leading to a record-breaking contract extension, which made her the highest paid player in NDAB Lest L history. Since then, she's continued to back that up, earning a Ball and Door nomination, leading the spirit to two more championship appearances, winning a gold medal

with the U.S. women's national team. So, Megan, as it stands today, Trinity's contract with

the Washington Spirit is ending. And she's reportedly receiving offers from clubs in Europe, even a

USL club here in the U.S. The spirit have said that they're willing to do what it takes to keep her.

But a lot of people are feeling nervous. Fans, of course, would miss Trinity's presence in the league so much. In the league itself,

while of course it would survive, would lose its biggest star. So just to set the scene a little bit,
