And I wanted to start this episode at the very beginning, the very first introductory episode that we did a year ago when

we launched the podcast, I think the first words that I spoke into the microphone were men and

women live on a stage. And it's girdle learner's metaphor of the whole human family. And now that

I've learned a lot more about gender, I actually would change it.

Instead of just saying men and women live on a stage, I would say all human beings live on a stage.

And she crafts this metaphor about how everybody's up on a stage, reading their script, the best they can, playing the part, the best that they know how and the way they've been taught,
