Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen Kingcast, one man's musings on the works of Stephen King.

Each week I'll review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King in the chronological order of publication,

but this episode is a very special bonus episode.

So if you're listening to this in the chronological order of the podcast publications,

then you know that I've just spent the last month in Derry, Maine, figuratively speaking,

analyzing and reviewing and just living in the world of Stephen King's 1986 masterpiece It.

Well, this episode is coming right on the heels of that, and it couldn't be any more appropriate

because I just got back from Derry, Maine, literally speaking, maybe not Derry, but the inspiration

for Derry, Maine, Bangor Maine, and if you are a Stephen King fan, then you know that Derry is Bangor with a different

name and a different, you know, history. There's not a giant monster spider clown living in the

canals of Bangor, Maine, but the town itself is the same as Derry.

So I just came back from there.

It was fantastic.

This year, my wife, Mrs. Constant Reader, she booked us a trip to Bangor on the Stephen

King Tours.

So really what this episode is going to be is just,

I'm just going to share some experiences that I had there.
