Summary

In November, a sixth set of human remains was found in Lake Mead and a Texas woman got confirmation that the 5th body found this year belonged to her father, who drowned in the lake 20 years ago. These discoveries come in the wake of water levels reaching their lowest point since the reservoir was being filled in 1937. Officials have yet to identify the victims, but that isn’t stopping Las Vegas from buzzing with speculation, curiosity… and tactless billboards. Given our infamous history with organized crime, it’s no surprise that people have been bursting with theories about their connection to the mob.

1:18.1	Of course.
1:19.1	So, we called you in because you work at the mob museum and you've been there for eight years you said so.
1:26.1	The water levels in Lake Mead have been dropping and as they drop we are seeing human remains.
1:33.1	I want to know why every time this happens people automatically say it must be the mob.
1:38.1	Well, I think that this really started with the first body that was found.
1:43.1	The first body was found in a barrel and the police determined pretty early on that
1:49.1	the individual in the barrel had been shot in the head and that they believed that this had occurred
1:56.1	sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
