Summary

Teachers all around the world are working to establish a new "normal" routine as schools are being shut down and teachers are asked to give instruction from home.  Join Bridget as she invites you to see how she navigates being a teacher during the COVID-19 shut down, a mom to two boys at home and a wife to a work-from-home husband.  You will hear how she works to schedule her day, accomplishes her goals and has to make adjustments because things just happen.  This is a week-in-the-life of a teacher at home.

As so many of you know, we are in a worldwide pandemic, and with this, so many of us are at home

navigate distance learning. There are so many challenges that we're facing between limited

resources, figuring out that whole work-life balance, and working to stay positive during

this time of uncertainty. I want to share with you my week in the life so that you can

hear how I am working to manage a household, help two boys with their distance learning,

keep myself sane, and also prepare and manage my own classes during the COVID-19 school shutdown. Each day I'm going to be coming on in the

mornings and talking to you about what are the goals and objectives that I want to be able to

accomplish. I'm also going to share with you any meetings or appointments I might have and then

any family business that I also might

need to take care of for that day. Then in the evenings, I will come on and let you guys know

planned. I'm kicking off this week in the life on a Sunday morning,

and I have several different things that I need to accomplish today. But the most important piece

that I need to accomplish is going to be preparing for my Sunday live chat. This is a chat that I do
