I said we had a loaded show this week.

A lot of Cedric Benson talk had to talk some team stuff as we get closer to the Louisiana Tech game.

So there was no time for my man, Mike Roach, Horn's 24-7 recruiting editor.

But as we sit here now, we had a speaking engagement in Dallas today.

We've got one in Crazy Fort Worth tonight.

And I am sitting here at Tarrant County at Mike's house at his kitchen table.

And we're going to talk recruiting.

Mike, thanks for letting me into your home, petting your dog.

And I see your cat hanging out over there.

So it's good surroundings as we get ready to talk recruiting.

You get a nice feel for my home office here, yeah, right?

I think this is like the coolest week for me.

You know, I've been lucky enough because of you to be able to do the Texas X's Fort Worth luncheon or kickoff party or whatever the last two years.

And that always feels like the finish line almost.

It's like, okay, now it's time for the season.

So there's always those benchmarks you hit during the year.

In summer, it's like when the opening ends

and Dave Campbell comes in the mail,
