Well, I'm breathing a sigh of relief because Bob Huggins is keeping his job, and West Virginia

is doing the right thing by their Hall of Fame head coach.

So if you miss some of the drama this week, Bob Huggins went on a Cincinnati radio show

and got himself into some trouble.

You know, former head coach at Cincinnati, that's why he's on there.

Cincinnati's coming back to the Big 12.

And he used a homophobic slur directed at Xavier fans.

Cincinnati, Xavier, big-time rivalry, and he called called them F words, the homophobic slur,

and then he said those Catholic F words referring to Xavier fans, saying that they would throw

rubber weeners on the floor and then say that they didn't do it. That is part of the story that Bob

Huggins told earlier this week on the Cincinnati radio show, the Bill Cunningham program.

Look it up. It's on the website at heartlandcollege sports.com. If you want to listen to it,

if you haven't heard it yet, that's fine. But the question all week was, is Bob Huggins going to be

fired? And thankfully, the answer is no. That is not defending Bob Huggins' use of that word.

But we can't just sit here, as I talked about in an earlier show this week, and ruin everybody's life

because they make a mistake.

That's not a world.

That's not a culture I want to live in.

I want to be around good people who make mistakes.

Because guess what?
