Henderson FSG's potential takeover and the trip to Dubai

across the next half an hour or so,

plenty to get stuck into with around two and a half weeks,

I think it is until the Reds are back in action

against Manchester City.

Lynch, I want to start though with the story that you wrote over the weekend.

The F. S.G. Takeover story is going on, of course, at the moment and And seemingly some interest from Saudi Arabia and Qatar,

certainly an interesting one.

What's your understanding of that,

and for anyone who hasn't read the story yet,

what is the latest? Yeah so you know still early days in this

takeover process and a lot of interest out there but it was just yeah I've been told

that you know one of the one of the parties that sort of leading the interest is a is a joint consortium of Saudi and Qatari investors

which you know I wrote this in the story but would have been sort of unthinkable a couple of years ago given

the diplomatic relations between those two countries but things have sort of thought considerably

in the last couple of years or so and you know we've seen that the two rules are those two countries in fact sat near each other a game at this World Cup and things are looking a lot brighter and that's opened up the possibility of these these two companies from those countries, you know,

pairing up to putting a bid for Liverpool and you know the initial bids they're

thinking around 3.2 billion is is hoping to lodge to FSG and yeah an interesting one because obviously you know that that's a bit that's going to come with a lot of wealth behind it and the fact that they've paired up because they didn't want to be the two richest sides of a bidding war
