champions league history by becoming the first English team to win all six of their group matches on Tuesday night.

Theo, I'll come to you first because you were at the game over in Italy.

Liverpool were already through of course as group winners but the big thing that I took from

this game really was that even with eight changes to their starting 11 it really did look like a

Liverpool team. Yeah they were really dominant from start to finish they were creating so many

chances and the AC Milan fans oh I was sat with they were getting so frustrated there because they

didn't really look like getting the goals they needed to come through like it's easy to forget because

Liverpool made such easy work at this group.

The second spot was very much up for grabs and any of the teams could have gone through

their A.C. Milan if they'd got a win it was very much in their hands.

But they never really looked like it.

Their goal came out of nothing really was a rebound from a set piece

and they hadn't looked like threatening much before that.
