Hello and welcome along to the latest Blood Red podcast from the Liverpool Echo. I'm your

host Matt Addison with Paul Gorse, Theo Squires and Charlotte Coates I'll all with me this afternoon

on the final pod before Christmas. We're going to have a look back at the enthralling game with

Leicester on Wednesday as the Reds progressed to the Karabow Cup semi-finals where they'll

take on parcel and we'll have a bit of a chart about the postponement of the game

with Leeds United on Boxing Day and what that means for Yogan Flop.

Let's start though with the Karabao Cup. Liverpool got through,

goursty it maybe didn't look like that was going to be the case at half time at Anfield but three wise men came off the bench at

half time and got Liverpool through. Yeah yeah it's at half time I was thinking

Liverpool of three one down here at Leicester and I'm thinking

We're gonna see how much clock really wants to stay in this cup a half time does you bring on

Cater and Jotter or does you just kind of accept it and think well I could do

without headache of the fixture pile up and see if the lads over out there could get back into it and I think

when he did make the change at half time it was a bit of a statement that he wasn't just willing to bow out quietly and accept his fate and to be fair to the substitutes the all contributed,

the Nethor Canate was superb at the back,

stopping Leicester's counsel attacks

that were, you know, cutting through Liverpool

so easily in the first half with

young Billy Kometi all alongside the rusty Joe Gomez.

So I can also make a big difference to that.
