Hello and welcome back to the latest blood red podcast from the Liverpool Echo.

I'm your host Matt Addison with Paul Gorse and Ian Doyle alongside me to reflect

on Liverpool of course making the Carabow Cup final first and then second ahead that game with

Crystal Palace to come this weekend. The only place to start though Gorsley is at the

Emirates where Liverpool won two-nill on Thursday night against Michael Artetas aside setting up a date with Chelsea in the

final two really nice goals from the Redson across the course of the two legs

they thoroughly deserve to get through to that final. I think so, yeah. I don't think I

asked all troubled Liverpool too much to do over the course of the 180 minutes. We spoke

at length in me last week about that disappointing in that first leg was,

Liverpool played over two thirds of the game with a man more and struggles

really make that numerical advantage counts but I thought yesterday they were terrific kind of

weather the bit of an early storm from Arsenal with Martinelli in particular

down that left side for Arsenal but after about 10 minutes of South Liverpool got into gear

started getting on the ball a little bit more and hard parcel open they're

brilliantly with the first goal wonderful such front for me you know for Treck Mosner who

found themselves once again in a central area which seems a bit a bit of a theme for him this season.

Ladies into Jota who was just superb on the night and once Lipp that goal I never really felt that

there are still going to get back into it to be honest.

Liverpool should have made a tune in the second half of Kay Gordon,

canati at the post and then Jota finished her afternoon with a

superb finish, took her on his chest and then just think they're over Rumsdale.
