In uncertain days, it is important to remember that our world is getting ready to meet God.

We are all getting ready to meet Him.

The King is coming.

Today, we join Scott Pauli in walking through the final book of the Bible, The Revelation of Jesus Christ.

When you think of a book like Revelation, you immediately think of the future.

But I want to remind you that the God who revealed himself in the Revelation is a present tense God.

His name is not I will be. His name is I am. He is a very present help in time of trouble.

He said he would never leave us and never forsake us.

And so, yes, while there are many things foretold in the Revelation,

and there are many prophetic elements, and we're looking forward to the king coming,

there is also a present tense application.

There's a word to us right where we are.

I love the fact that in Revelation chapter number one, God begins to deal with believers right where we are. I love the fact that in Revelation chapter number one, God

begins to deal with believers right where they are. We come to Revelation chapter one in verse number

three today where the Bible says, blessed, isn't that a beautiful word? What do you think of

Revelation? You think of all the judgments and we're going to look at those judgments and there's

a certain darkness that God

has to deal with and the Lord brings to an end so many things and yet in the midst of this

this book that is filled with judgments there is also blessing blessed is he that readeth

and they that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written

therein for the time is at hand i love the fact that god begins with blessing how did he begin the
