0:32.1	you're joining me today as we continue on in our study of the sermon on the mount
0:37.2	Today we are on episode 92. We're working through the 5th B attitude, Matthew 5-7, which states,
0:45.0	Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
0:49.0	Always my reminder, if you're joining us for the first time or a bit behind no pressure here
0:55.1	each episode can stand alone and I'm working through them pretty slow as I said
0:59.8	in the last episode so I have time to prepare them and you have time to listen to them.
1:05.6	I am so thankful for time in the word that I get studying and propping and I hope
1:11.6	that you're going to get some time to dig into these scriptures on your own too,
1:15.0	especially at the pace that we're going on.
1:17.0	So we're still working through the beatitudes or the blessings here in these early verses of Matthew chapter 5 and the reminder
1:26.1	that these are the characteristics of those that belong to the kingdom of heaven.
1:33.1	So working through these beatitudes
1:35.8	continues to cause me to have self-examination,
1:40.0	which is really good, but it's also really hard and I do believe that was probably
1:45.8	what Jesus was hoping we would do that we would allow the Lord to search our
1:51.2	heart and life and when he does that, are we thankful for attitudes
