He was, I pointed out that he was overwhelmingly positive even the face of serious health issues, and that is what actually caused his retirement from the show in the first place.

And it was hard for him to give up, but I respected his decision at the time he needed to take care of himself.

And he was always very positive and supportive of the show even after he left it.
