0:09.7	Today, it is Black, sort of Monday, gray Monday.
0:15.1	Not exactly the firing squad of potential coach firings that we were expecting, but a couple moves that we did
0:24.4	expect did occur. Some people kept their jobs. Some people didn't even wait until Black Monday to
0:31.1	fire their coaches. And we're going to start with that today. Start with the news with the Patriots
0:37.4	firing Gerard Mayo, not on Monday, but an hour after
0:41.9	their victory cost them the first overall pick in the 2025 draft.
0:47.2	And joining me to talk about that is the Boston Herald's Doug Kide.

0:53.2	Doing okay, Bill.
0:54.1	It's been a pretty crazy 24, 36 hours here,
0:58.1	but yeah, how are you doing? I'm good. It has been a very weird period. I mean, the Patriots
1:04.4	went into Sunday thinking a loss would give them the first overall pick. They had seemed to be spending most of the
1:13.5	week insisting that Drake May was going to be their starter and play through the majority of
1:20.6	the game against a Bill's team with nothing to play for. And then Drake may get sacked at the
1:25.2	end of his first and final possession of the game.
1:28.3	Joe Milton comes in.
1:29.5	Joe Milton looks like he is a franchise quarterback for most of a game.
1:34.9	The Patriots win, which is a rare occurrence, of course, for the New England Patriots.
1:40.2	And then after his press conference, Gerard Mayo gets fired.
1:42.5	And certainly not necessarily a shock that Gerard Mayo was fired, but I guess I want to start with the timing of this all to you.
