Bitcoin has hit $100,000, fueled by hopes for pro-crypto policies under President-elect Donald Trump.

With new crypto-friendly leadership at the SEC

and billions pouring in from big investors,

is this the start of a golden era for digital assets?

Mariko, we've come a long way since 2022.

Yes.

Or, you know, I was actually thinking about when it first started trading, you know, back in like, what was it, 2009, like 15 years ago.

Your memory is better than mine, obviously. No, because my husband has not forgiven me. He asked me like, should I buy this thing called Bitcoin? I was like, you know, it doesn't sound too stable. And then he still has not forgiven me. But yeah, quite an incredible day that, you know,

not only has it so passed 100,000, but it actually didn't stop there. It just kind of kept going

up. Clearly, the market is liking the fact that the incoming Trump administration is going to be

a lot more friendlier towards the crypto industry and Mr. Trump saying that he would nominate Paul Atkins,

who has previously spoken in favor of deregulating the crypto industry, that definitely helped

to push up the prices.

And it's not just the appointments, isn't it not? You've got Black Rock and Fidelity.

They've collectively drawn billions in investment in crypto too. I guess everybody's in on it now,

aren't they? Yeah, it does feel's in on it now, aren't they?

Yeah, it does feel like the mood has changed, hasn't it? The Bitcoin price surpassed 100,000
