She's a Grammy-nominated songwriter, buddies with Reese Witherspoon.

I mean, it's awesome.

An activist, a model, a galloping gourmet, a transplant from Ghana, West Africa,

although she has been a Nashvilleian for most of her life.

But most importantly, she seems to have a huge heart that's recognized by everyone who's met her.
