But before I get to Mayor Woodfinn I wanted to have a more solemn moment, I wanted to talk about

Afghanistan and the unfolding drama in Kabul. And remember the lives lost in this past Thursday

suicide bombing at the Kabul Airport. In case you missed it this past

Thursday, more than 100 people were killed including at least 13 US

service members and 90 Afghans when a suicide bomber exploded near crowds trying to enter the Kabul Airport.

This was followed by a gun assault and another bombing at a nearby hotel.

All-in, this was the deadliest day in Afghanistan for American since 2011.

More attacks are likely as the US continues to withdraw.

There's no way to end a war perfectly. I'm sure that if the administration

had a chance to do this all over again, they'd probably do some things differently.

But before we further politicize this withdrawal,
