Since the first protests on May 26, millions of people across America and across the world

have taken to the streets to express their grief and anger and demand justice for the killing

of George Floyd by Minnesota law enforcement.

We've been fired at with rubber bullets.

My government has been hit.

We've also seen tear gas being used here.

We go and moving through again.

This is exactly what it looks like. But that's not the outdoors community, right? The outdoors is for everyone.

Naturalists are so welcoming. Well, it might seem like a hundred years ago now, but just before the very first

protests began, another racist incident was already sparking outrage online.

So there's an incident in New York Central Park caught on camera and it's going viral.

Christian Cooper, a black man who had been bird watching in New York City for decades was in the

ramble. 36 acres of semi-forested woodland in Central Park when he asked a nearby woman to obey the park

rules and leash her dog.

She refused and before the confrontation ended, the woman called the police while Christian

recorded her with his smartphone.

Amy Cooper has apologized but was fired from her job.
