Because I've been doing this job for quite a long time now, but there is still an astonishing

capacity for me to be

taken by surprise. So I wandered into the production office at 10 o'clock this morning. We were

already taking calls on the first topic, which was Greg's the Baker's and compassionate

conservative, responsible capitalism. And Aaron, who's answering the phones today, I just got the giggles and I

could work out why by eavesdropping. He said, where are you calling from? And the bloke on the other

end of the phone said, my car. So it would have put on, it would have been John in his car.

Anyway, so the point is, I'd still get taken by surprise.

So I don't think I'd mention Mystery Out barely, but I haven't got a phone line free now.

Everyone's already rung in, which makes me little bit.

I'm such a complex web of insecurities and paranoias that now I'm worried you weren't listening to the first two hours of the program.

You just mean sitting there waiting for 12 o'clock.

But at least you're here now.

So, what is Mystery? If you're unfamiliar with this feature, then I think you're probably in for something

of a treat. And that's because it almost always delivers a belly laugh. Not quite as deep a

belly laugh necessarily as the one that David has given me in his extremely long text,

explaining why his negative attitude towards Greater Thornburg has absolutely nothing to do with any personal inadequacies on his part.

I'm glad we've cleared that up.

But a belly laugh could be on the horizon nonetheless.
