Summary

In the last 20 years, many Christians have moved away from solid dispensational Bible teaching. They have adopted unique new ways of interpreting several key Bible prophecies, specifically the ones that deal with the timing of the Rapture of the Church and the Tribulation Period. Many people are under the false assumption that the first three and a half years of the Tribulation are a time of peace and tranquility. Some are teaching that those first three and half years, when over 2 BILLION people die, represents the wrath of man, or even worse, the wrath of Satan! A new wave of Bible teachers are espousing the “pre-wrath” theory and the “6th-seal rapture theory,” believing God is going to put us through a time of persecution before we are raptured. Still others believe that the seals of Revelation have already been opened and we are already in the Tribulation! Passionate pastor, Billy Crone, was reduced to tears as he examined God’s wrath on an unbelieving world during the Tribulation period. 0:36.1	Billy has just written a book called The Seals. It's devoted to the subject of the seven seals of the book of Revelation. And the way Billy has put this thing together, it's an extremely important subject. How did you approach the seals?
0:52.2	Literally wanted to just take the time, be exhaustive and really just tear it apart.
0:56.0	And that's why we, that's exactly what we did, Gary.
0:59.0	We've called it the seals a panoramic view of the first half of the seven-year tribulation.
1:04.0	We wanted to tear it apart for all its worth.
1:06.0	Not gloss over it, not just breeze by it, but literally line by line, verse by verse, word by word in the original language, we tore it apart.
1:15.6	We went back into the history, the customs, the mannerisms, and we wanted to see what is really going on here in its fullness.
1:21.6	If you think the English is expressive, wait till you get to the original language.
1:25.6	So many things popped out there
1:27.5	that I think is very important for people to understand today.
1:31.4	Now the seals essentially are the first half of the tribulation.
1:36.3	And a lot of people look at those and say, oh, well, there are seven seals.
1:40.9	And I think, you know, one of these days those are going to be opened and we're
1:46.7	probably still going to be on earth and we'll be going through that period and we will
1:51.5	remain on earth while those seals are being opened and a lot of Christians actually sort
1:56.9	of assume that. Yeah, yeah. But you take an entirely different view. Yeah, and it's not
2:03.8	just my view, it's not just convenient because I'm guilty of escapism. I don't want to be there.
