Week 16, almost in the books.

We've got the Dolphins at the Saints to wrap up the Christmas weekend of action.

Merry Christmas to everyone out there who has yet to see or hear from us since we were off on Friday and obviously on Saturday, but no days off on Sunday, not with the NFL, getting closer and closer to the postseason. Hello, Mike Golick. Great to see you. I hope you had a great holiday with your family. Welcome back. We get to talk. People say, oh, you have to work on Monday. No, I don't have to work on Monday.

I never have to work on Monday.

I just talk about football for a couple of hours.

Let me tell you, it's like the gift that keeps on giving.

And I hope everybody had an incredible Christmas.

And I hope at some point in that day, you were as happy as Ralphie getting the Red Rider BB gun from the greatest Christmas movie there is in a Christmas story.

So I hope everybody could smile that much.

And listen, we got so much football to watch over the weekend.

And now again, tonight, what could be better than right now?

And, you know, I thought of you on Saturday because it was the two-year anniversary

of one of my all-time great non-sports injuries.

Christmas morning, just finished opening the gifts, wanted to get in the pre-gluttony

workout, had on the sports socks that are very slick on the bottom, had my face in my phone,

heading down the stairs to the workout room, and busted my ass literally, rode down the steps.

My wife thought I was dead. She acted like she was concerned. I think she also had visions

of my life insurance policy dancing in her head. But I had a bruised tailbone. It hurt like hell for four or five weeks. There's nothing you do for it. You just deal with it. There's no treatment. Just deal with it. So that's one of my old-time great non-sports injuries, household injury. And two years ago, I'd forgotten about it. I'd completely forgotten about it. And my wife said, Hey, do you remember what you did two years ago?

It's like, why'd you have to remind me?
