Welcome to the Athletic Football Show. Today's Friday, December 10th. I'm Robert Mays. Great show for you guys today. Shiaquapata is going to be joining us a little bit later for a weekly pick segment. Always have a great time doing that with Shield. Today was a blast. Before we do that, though, very excited to welcome my good friend. Nate Tyson. Nate, how you doing, buddy? Doing well. I know. I think that's why our Friday shows were always in such a good mood to start because we finished up with Sheel. We're just like, rip and roar and like we got everything off our chest, crack the jokes. It's like, oh, oh yeah, and then we got to get serious again and talk about these games.

We have a few things that we're going to dig into.

We're going to talk about some struggling offenses with the Browns and the Ravens. Talk about what the chiefs have done on defense to turn this thing around. Who, boy. I mean, just an unbelievable shift there. Yeah. The Cardinals offense, a group that we just haven't really talked about very much because it's been Colt McCoy heavy, but they're very good. I think it's time to start talking about maybe some of the things they're doing differently. Before we do that, though, I want to talk about the game of the week. And that's Bill's Bucks. This may be a little bit less of a marquee matchup to some people just because of what happened to the B on Monday. It's not how I feel. Even if the bills are a tiny bit, I don't know if disappointing is too strong a word. Even if they've let us down a little bit compared to what we thought they might be early in the season or even coming into the year, this is still a damn good football game. And I want to talk about it just kind of from

every single angle. So when you're thinking about this matchup, what's the first thing that you

feel like comes to mind? Really the first exciting thing is really Bucks offense versus Bill's

defense. Yeah. And I, because I just, this Bill's defense, it does such a good job of making it tough on offenses. Hey, you got a nickel and dime us. You got where they're going to be tight, squeezed. I've talked about how you know what they're about to run. Like the Patriots realized, you know what they're about to run. All right. How can you execute against us? Well, what does this buck's do better than anyone is push the ball on guys, put on teams,

push it, push it, find those tight spaces, sit in soft spots, run pound the rock when they need

to pound the rock, even if it might not be the most efficient stuff sometimes, but it hasn't

proved this year. We talked about before is, but it's this, like this Bucks offense is actually

not a great matchup for the Bills defense, but it's not like I'm saying, oh, they're going to blow them out of the water.

That's what makes it fun is that this is a smart unit that knows what they're doing.

And when I say that, you could go, is that the Bucs offense or Bill's defense is talking about.

That's exactly it.
