The fourth horseman of the apocalypse mentions death and Hades.

Hi Bill.

Gary is great to be back on the program and we're going to have a very fascinating topic today.

And we're going to continue a discussion that we began on our last broadcast.

And the fourth seal mentions death and Hades, and I think it's really easy to read across that.

In fact, it's in verse 8 of Revelation 6.

And I looked and behold a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was death and Hades followed

with him and it's really easy just to read right across it and say, okay, that's the death

and Hades followed with it.

So what?

But you actually point out that this is bigger than it seems.

Right, because what we're told about death in Hades and the timing that they show up on the world scene gives us some pretty detailed information about who they are, who's their identity, and what are they doing, what is their mission.

You know, it says that they are given authority over a quarter of the earth to kill through multiple means.

It starts talking about famines and the sword, et cetera, the beasts of the earth.

And commonly, we pointed out in the previous show, the traditional teaching is that means they're killing a quarter of the world's population.

And it could be as many as a billion plus people. But that's not

technically what the text reads. They're given power or in some translations authority

over a quarter of the earth to kill. Because by the time you get to the fourth horsemen

of the apocalypse, you've had the other three horsemen, the Antichrist comes on the scene

in the white horsemen, first seal. Second seal,'ve got the wars taking place of the fiery red horsemen.

And then the third seal, the bad fruits of wars across the globe
