Donald Trump, I mean energizer bunny, come on. Every day, every way. He is driving his opposition mad. So Trump makes a deal with Mayor Eric Adams.

I, as I reported yesterday, do not know what that deal is. But Donald Trump does not do anything

without a transaction. That's how he lives,

that's how he rolls, that's who he is. So in return for the Justice Department dropping

the case against Mayor Adams, which was a fairly serious case. Adams took freebies and in return,

buildings owned by Turks, as in Turkey, were given kind of wide latitude by New York City

authorities, zoning, various safety things, so you could

show a quid pro quo that Adams got free plane rides and hotel rooms in return for this.

It's kind of small ball, but it's not good.

Anyway, Adams doesn't have to worry about it for a while,

although the Justice Department says it could reinstate charges down the road,

not as long as Donald Trump is in the White House.

I mean, that's my editorial point of view.
