Hello friends welcome back to another episode of the Kevin Rose show today's show is another great one and I think well I think I'll probably always say that

Because I'm really excited about these guests. I don't know that I'll ever say this show is not going to be good because then I just

wouldn't air it. But this show is actually going to be really good. It is Bill Marris who was my old

colleague and former boss and he was the man behind Google Ventures.

So he started Google Ventures within Google, ran it for many years and has recently stepped

away to start his own fun.

And I really admire and respect Bill for so many reasons.

I think he's got a great nose for all things investing,

but he is certainly not afraid to venture into unfamiliar territory

and really take on new challenges even if he doesn't know what he's doing and he gets

into a little bit of that during our conversation.

I also really respect his kind of excitement around learning and tackling new problems.

It's really rare to find executives these days that will admit they don't know something and be willing to continue to learn and consider learning to be this lifelong practice that never ends.

On top of that, he's phenomenal, empowering of empowering his employees.

I certainly felt that while I was at Google.

And he's been a mentor on mine for a long time.

So I'm excited for you guys to meet him because he's a really good human.
