Less than 70 days to go in an election dramatically reshaped by COVID-19, hard-hit battleground states of Florida, Arizona, and Texas

have been able to drive cases down in recent weeks. Bill Hammer, host of Bill Hammer reports,

has been breaking down how things might play out in 2020, and he joins me now for the untold story.

Bill, thank you so much. I know we're all busy this week, but I'm so glad to have

an opportunity to catch up with you because you and I have covered elections together for many

years. We'll just leave it at that. And I wanted to just, first of all, get your big picture thoughts

on how different it is this time around. Yeah, hey Martha, great to be with you also.

You know, we worked that board to try and give folks an idea visually for where we think things

are and where they may or may not go. You mentioned Florida, Texas, and Arizona, we were talking

on your show earlier in the week about what the cases have done there. This is the trend I see.

And it's not true everywhere, but it's true in a lot of places.

And that is this.

In mid-July, in the same week, Martha, Florida and Texas and Arizona were peaking in their number of cases.
