It's Big Jim Murray and Ted Johnson. In for the guys that was uh patriots offensive coordinator josh mcdaniel speaking

last week after one of the days of training camp i found that that comment particularly interesting

i talked about this with chris gasper on saturday ted and that to me i'm not trying to be an a

hole here i'm really not that is that's josh saying, we have them out there. The quarterbacks are going to compete with each other. And when Bill ends up going with Cam Newton and he kind of sucks again, don't look at me. Because Chris has referred to it as the tug of war in Foxborough. Josh wants Mac. Bill wants Cam. There's the tug of war. And I believe that, too. And so, you know, and I think that Josh is, you know, Chris has talked about this. Josh is one of these guys, much like some of these coaches like Sean McVeigh or like Shanahan and San Francisco. Like they just want these quarterbacks to be automaton. Like we're the geniuses. We're the ones. We just need a robot to execute.

I wonder where he gets that from.

I know.

And I think this is what they look or Josh looks at Mac Jones like that. And I just, I don't know. Do you give any credence? I can't remember your response to that. Do you give that any creditor? You give that any credibility whatsoever that there might be an internal struggle between Josh McDaniels and the, you know, Bill Belichick as far as who's the starting quarterback? Yeah, but I mean, is Josh really going to pop off about it? Like, I mean, there's still a hierarchy here and what Bill says goes. But you're also alluding that maybe he's popping off in his own subtle way, passive, aggressive, or indirect way?

Yeah, I think so. Like, again, I hear that quote, and that to me is they're going to go out there to compete. You'll see with your own eyes that Matt looks like the better quarterback. And when Bill goes with Cam, and he sucks again, don't look at me. What do you think? Let me ask you this. All right. Who do you think? Why would Josh flex his muscles? Why, if you think it may, because it's been, I don't want to misquote you guys or misrepresent,

but I've heard on this show that there's a theory of thinking out there that maybe, you know,

Josh has people in the media that Josh talks to and that there are certain people in the media

that are kind of fanning the certain narrative

when it comes to, and of Mac Jones, supporting Mac Jones, Mac Jones, Mac Jones.
