Now, Sean, if you listen to what we talked about in the first part of the show, you're going to be like, well, man, just, why don't you just go ahead and get that championship trophy, put Notre Dame's name on it and hand it over to them, right?

Those are the things obviously that we look at and say, hey, these are the reasons why we think Notre Dame can compete with anybody if those things go well. But this is also a team that there's still some things

that have to prove. There's still some potential stumbling blocks. So what part two of the show is

going to be, and it's going to be a lot shorter than the last show for a number of reasons,

but mainly because this team has fewer flaws than some passing their name teams. There are still some things, however, that when you point to this team say, this could be a

potential problem, this could be a potential problem, this could be a potential stumbling block.

Beyond things outside of their controls, we talked about earlier, neither of us are going to

point to injuries.

That is certainly a stumbling block for Notre Dame, but that's a stumbling block for Ohio State,

Oregon, Texas, Penn State, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, any other team.

If you have a bunch of injuries, it's going to make it a lot harder for you to be able

to go out there and compete for a championship.

Obviously, that's true. I also believe that injuries aren't as much of an excuse because NER name is such a deep

team that's shown the ability to, if you lose some guys, you have enough talent to step up and go out

there and still be pretty good. Other people got to step up and do different things it's just

you know there's just a lot of things along those lines that you're going to say hey look you could you can

be able overcome it just like every other team is going to have to overcome it if they have a similar

situation and those things are out of your control these other things are more in their control

and that's what we're going to spend some time talking on here now,

is focusing on the areas that are part of Notre Dame's control.

They can perform well here, but if they don't,

then this season could end up being falling short of expectations.
