You know, there are a few things that start conversations like talking about using a shotgun for self-defense. But I also think it's one of

the areas where there may be more myths and misconceptions, or let's just say people are just

flat out wrong when it comes to what they could use, should use, and how to use it. And to find

out what's really going on with this and get the real skinny on it, I said, let's get Ken Campbell in here from Gun site. Now, Ken, you guys teach shotgun, where you

teach rifle, you teach handgun, you teach all of it. So what say you in terms of the shotgun,

first of all, just as an effective tool for self-defense? Tom, of course, first off, it's a great pleasure talking with you, as always.

Second of all, we don't teach the Joe Biden method of, you know, stepping out of

and cranking rounds in the air.

We try not to do that.

We actually teach you to fight with a pretty effective weapon system,

and that's a shotgun. What makes the shotgun so effective? Well, you know, let me throw in one

other thing here. We've seen an increase the last few years in shotgun classes. There was a dip

there for a bit, and now we're back to full speed

ahead in our shotgun classes. What makes it effective? It's so darn versatile. It can be a rifle

when you put a slug in it and some decent size, whether it's an optic or whether it's

rifle sites on the gun. You know, it's a mid-range rifle. You put double up buck in it,

and you pattern that so you understand what your pattern is, because you and I both know,
