Remember the Greyhound bus station on main?

You ever go by there? It was nasty during the day. It was awful at night and there was a McDonald's next door. You remember the McDonald's that was next door?

When I was on city council we were constantly getting complaints and I actually tried to do something about it. Nobody

wanted to. But it had all sorts of nicknames crack Donald's max tabby chaos McDonald's

well the Greyhound bus station on Maine is being closed, but it's being reopened.

The Houston Chronicle is celebrating this as a big victory.

You know why? Because they're moving the problem out of their

neighborhood and moving it to the east end. Greyhound says effective

Thursday all buses will operate out of 7,000 Harrisburg near 69th.

So that's going to be a hot spot of drugs, prostitution, violence, that location will have 24-hour self-served

ticket sales for buses bound for New Orleans and Dallas.

Gilda Bruton, regional vice president for Greyhound,

said in a statement, quote,

the Houston market remains one of the most important

in the country for Greyhound.

Yay, we're honored?

The Harrisburg Boulevard location will enable us to continue to provide convenient and affordable bus travel for

Houstonians and those who live in the surrounding area. Yeah, that's great.

That's a pipeline for the people we don't want.
