And today we're breaking it all down with someone who knows exactly what those investigative

steps look like on the inside. She's tracked killers. She's interrogated violent offenders,

and she's here to walk us through how this case was built and what it tells us about

Brian Koberger's mind. We're going to dig into this with FBI Special Agent retired Jennifer Coffered as we pull back the curtain on Brian Coburger.

And in this first area, now that we know that he surveilled them for all this time, Jennifer, the house over 20 times, studied criminology on left, almost no physical trace beyond the knife sheath.

What does it tell us about him from a behavioral perspective when it comes to, well, trying to pull off

this crime and what he did and what he did not do?

Well, you know, Tony, what this really tells us is about how well orchestrated this was,

how well planned this was, how well thought out, and how educated he was. Obviously, a Ph.D.

student. He has had so many criminal justice classes at some of the, you know, finest criminal justice programs

at DeSales and then also at Washington State University, which I think very much helped him
