Hey, we have a full slate today at KKHI, including two, yes, two lead stories.

These are co-leads, and I just tossed them around. Couldn't

figure out which one to start with. But came to a decision, but it's 50-50 on these two lead stories and a

whole bunch of news going on, including some famous names in and out. We've also got sports on the

back end and some new rules in the NFL and all kinds of great information concerning the National Football League and some things that are going on with rules, changes, the Hall of Fame game, and a trend that is likely to be the same this year as it has been the last few years.

We start with crime in Washington, D.C.

And Donald Trump's been threatening for several weeks now that if they don't get crime under control in Washington, D.C.,

he's going to federalize D.C. and take it over.

Now, the latest comes after Trump has repeatedly said many times he wants to see juveniles prosecuted as adults.

Donald Trump wants to see juveniles 14 and up tried and prosecuted as adults and then jailed in facilities for a long, long, long term depending on the crime.

What we're seeing repeatedly in America's cities is the same thing that we saw here at the

Chiefs Parade, where we had the quote unquote mass shooting and everybody reacted and went,

oh, no, we have kids that were shot.

And they went to Children's Mercy Hospital and the whole country thought, oh, my God, how

terrible is Kansas City.

They shot kids.

Well, it was kids shooting kids. It was 14, 15, 16, 17 year olds shooting other

juveniles, teenagers. And now we have a crime that was committed over the weekend in Washington,

D.C. that I think ends it. I think that's it. I don't think there's any question now Donald Trump

is going to do whatever he can legally to federalize Washington, D.C. and take it over and take over
