The first month of the football season is in the books, and now we get set for conference play in full swing. And of course, that all started this week. I can't say Saturday

because we had a Friday game. So let's just talk about these games in order of what they meant,

what happens, not the order of which they were played. I do that non-conference play, but you know what?

In conference play, we got to talk about what actually happened based on the order of importance.

And the most important game on Saturday took place in Fort Worth, where the West Virginia

Mountaineers improved to 4 and 1 after beating TCU as a 14-point

underdog on the road. My goodness. Neil Brown on the Mountaineers were picked to finish last

place in this league. I didn't think they'd come in last, but I didn't have high hopes.
