As we welcome you in from all across the country and all across Big big 12 country most importantly boy there's a lot

of movement in our big 12 football power rankings this week and we're going to count it down

from 14 to 1 all right you ready for this let's get to it big 12 power rankings we'll start at

the very bottom last week the number 14 team was the Houston Cougars.

And this week, the number 14 team is the Houston Cougars. Houston now has a loss to Rice last week and also, of course, has a loss to TCU this past weekend.

And it could have been much worse against TCU.

Now, I'm looking at this Houston team, and I'm just not seeing it. I'm not seeing a Dana

Holgerson offense that you saw at the end of his WVU tenure. I'm not seeing a defense that has a lot

of teeth to it. There is not a lot happening for the Houston Cougars, and they have earned that number 14 spot in the power rankings this week.

Now, remember, this is not based on how I think the Big 12 is going to play out.

This is based on what have you done?

That's what it's based on, with a little extra emphasis on the most recent week.

So Houston in the 14 spots shouldn't be all that surprising for those of you that have been watching Big 12 football.

At number 13, plummeting eight spots.
