or you even question like, okay, let's try and put some nuance on this, that is racism.

You are the racist. You are the white supremacist.

Welcome back to the Loopcast, Catholic Vote's weekly rundown of all things, faith, culture, and politics.

As always, it's me,

Erica, and Josh. And we have a full week to get into, so let's get right into it. So the first

topic we will be discussing is a commencement. And last week we mentioned a really good commencement

speech. This week, we have a not so good commencement speech. President Biden went to Howard University. Now, for those

who don't know, Howard University is a historically black college. They brought on Joe Biden,

and Joe Biden's message to the graduates were not reached for the stars. It was white supremacy

is the biggest threat facing America today. And I don't know if they were holding up cards to tell people when to cheer, but it felt

a little bit off.

Erica, what did that speech do for you?

Yeah.

I mean, essentially, he was giving a campaign speech to the graduates of Howard University

for 2023.

And the overwhelming message was, things are really bad, right? You're walking into a

world where the biggest threat to your life isn't something that you have control over. It's

white supremacy. And I was going to read this quote. He said, we know that American history

has not always been a fairy tale.
