President Biden and former President Trump visit the U.S.-Mexico border this week, and the trips

underscored the conflicting stories being told about immigration and the border.

So both political parties agree the border is broken.

But frame the problem in really different terms.

Democrats talk about the struggle of asylum seekers who face hostile border agents, application backlogs, and overwhelmed immigration courts.

Republicans talk about migrants with a focus on crime, with the need for more screening, fences, and security.
