Hey, good old Riley here. Welcome to the Noose Bend News Monday, October 17, 2022. Stand up for your country. So tonight we begin an earnest or coverage of the midterms three weeks from tomorrow.

0:26.0

You know, I'm a little bit of a braggart sometimes, but I'll tell you I think we'll have the best political coverage in the nation.

0:35.0

And if you see anybody better or even close, please let me know. Bill at BillOrily.com, Bill at BillOrily.com. Because what we're going to do is just facts.

0:46.0

Mathematically work it down to what is likely to happen and what is happening now. And over the weekend there was a change.

0:55.0

There was a change in the political tenor that nobody that I know of picked it up, but I did.

1:02.0

And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. The changes this.

1:09.0

The clearer of the Democratic party, President Biden, is becoming increasingly detached from reality.

1:18.0

Okay. He's out of touch. And every time he makes a appearance, a national appearance, that becomes clearer to the country.

1:30.0

Now there are a third of Americans that don't care about that, that they will vote for Democrats and Biden no matter what.

1:39.0

Same thing with Nixon when Nixon was had a resign, about 28% of Americans they would have supported Nixon no matter what he did.

1:47.0

And that range doesn't deviate. Those people are just hard core liberals or conservatives. They're not going to change.

1:56.0

Over the weekend we saw Joe Biden in Portland, Oregon and someone asked about the economy. Go.

2:07.0

Yes. Our economy is coming to an end.

2:11.0

In terms of inflation worldwide, we're solving all these issues in the United States. So, the problem is lack of economic growth and sound policy.

2:26.0

Other countries, not so much. That's our worldwide inflation. That's consequence.

2:33.0

Our economy is strong as hell. That's just not true. That's like the border is secure. It's not true.

2:42.0

Yet Biden has no trouble saying that. And well, he's a liar. He may well be a liar.

2:50.0

But for my analysis of him over the past two years, he simply doesn't know what's happening. And people tell him, I'll talk to him like economy is strong.

3:03.0

The CNBC came out and said there is a 100% chance of a recession in America. That isn't a strong economy, Mr. President. But will he even hear about that? Probably not.

3:20.0

He lives in a bubble. That ice cream cone that he was holding cost probably 30% less this year, last year at this time. Okay. So again, so Biden says our economy is strong as hell.

3:34.0

And it's the other countries that have an inflation problem. It's the other countries. So I go tell myself where I get me this, that's we have had seven months in the United States of America with inflation over 8%.

3:48.0

Not since 1981 has inflation been this bad. That was Jimmy Carter. Okay. Who got waxed by Rick. And since June 1st, just a few months ago, the Dow has dropped 8.5%. More than 3,000 points.
