It was 40 years ago in October that you guys, Ascending Church sent us to Tucson to start the work there.

And God has been so gracious to us and so good to us.

And I appreciate you guys so much in being able to work for Skip. Skip called me last week,

asked if I could come out and I told him, I owe you. He took a chance on me when I was like 22 years old to come and be the youth pastor here.

And if I knew I could have got paid, I might have said something. I had no idea. I had a business here in town.

So working here was just such a blessing for me to be able to do. In the last 40 years in Tucson

have been such a great blessing as well. I'm so excited to be here and share with you.

The message that I'm going to bring you today is the message I prepared for our body

because of what we've been through in the last few weeks with the death of Charlie.

And Charlie Kirk was so bold in his faith. And you can watch many of his, the unedited clips.

And you've got to be careful because there's edited clips out there.

But the unedited clips, you can't get very far through them until he shares about his faith.

And so I want to talk to you about courage.

And it was interesting, the gal being baptized talked about her courage to share her faith.

And I want to talk to you today about courage to be able to share with those around you

and that God would open up doors for you to be able to do that. I did want to let you know a little

bit more about the making of a biblical leader. First of all, this isn't just a book I've written.

This is a compilation book. I'm not just here,

buy my book. Would you guys buy my? That's not what this is. This is a group of pastors who are

friends of mine over the years who have come together to put a book together on biblical

leadership. We feel like it's something that really needs to be covered, and we believe that God's going to use this in a powerful way.
