And I thought this is so cool. We did a study and the results of that study are going to be shared now with people and they're going to take that information and they're going to do good things for conservation.

And then next thing I know, people are using our paper and

beating the heads of the legislators and threatening them with litigation.

And I'm going, no, wait, no, that's not how this is supposed to work.

That's the big issue with the lab band, right,

is that it stopped being a conversation about a conservation opportunity

and started becoming a... A attack on our right. This is a attack on our rights or turned into a political fight rather than a discussion about best conservation practices.

I mean as human beings you know you can't just like see just decide to stop

thinking right the copper versus the the lead and stuff you can but it's painful if you do yeah but it's painful if you do but it's painful if you do it's gonna bite you

that knife will still be sharp it will still be hot yeah that job isn't to tell you what to do, it's to help you know that there's a choice there

and what that was

was actually is a lot of the guys I talked to especially these older guys who have been shooting them for years like oh yeah I've been using them for years they're great and I say oh well did you know about this piece like Like, no. Never thought about it.

That was what was cool about that guy though,

and he's like, now I know another thing

that's good about these bullets.

Yeah, it's a bonus.
