Do you recall what really shifted America into crony capitalism?

Do you recall the exact event that kind of started to do that?

I think it was the merger of the three previous forms of capitalism, which are recognized,

mercantile, industrial, and finance.

And so those are the three, like, stages of capitalism.

And I think late capitalism is, you know, acknowledged by some scholars, but not all.

And the idea, in my opinion, behind late capitalism.

I hate to tag on the word stage because that seems to trigger people.

But if you just call it late capitalism, I think that, again, is like, in my opinion, a reference to the amalgamation of mercantile, industrial, and

finance capitalism. Because I can point to literally different points or different parts of

the American economy that are mercantile, that are industrial, and that are finance.

Absolutely, absolutely. No, you bring a solid point, my friend.

The one thing I want to say too is when corporations got the same rights as people.

So when corporations were given the same rights as people, that's really, at least in my opinion,

when we started to really see this shift into crony capitalism,

I mean,

a really good example of crony capitalism in my eyes.
