Carrie Dordy. And today we're doing another Beyond Golden Girls episode where we cover the many

film and TV projects that the women did outside of the Golden Girls during the course of their

illustrious careers. And since we got so much positive feedback on our last breakdown of a mama's family

episode, today we're going back to the city of Raytown, Missouri. Missouri. Missouri. We just watched

Betty Roo and another fun Golden Girls guest star in Mama for Mayor, part one of Mama's Family.

First off, I need to say, and we talked about this before on the podcast, I am so thrilled

at everyone's response to the initial watching of Mama's Family and people's love for Mama's

family. And I hope to be an ambassador for people to watch Mama's Family, particularly those

first two seasons

with Roome McClanahan and Betty White because it brings me so much joy and I am so... You and I were texting being like, should we do this? Should we do both episodes in one episode or should we make it a two-parter? And I'm like, I need all of the Mama's family I can get. It has to be a two-parter. Thank you. Yeah, I was a dumb-dum,

and I just assumed we were doing parts one and two, so I just went ahead and watched them both.

But it was a really fun watch. We do have a lot to talk about. But before we get into it,
