The Michael Barry show. We are about to be tested. It's coming any day now. They're putting

in place what they have to do. And you're going to see the Republicans in Congress capitulate

because they've got to pick a side. They can't half-ass this one. So you're going to see the small

minority of Republicans who are going to push back. And the others, when they're interviewed for

their vote, they're going to say, well, look, I'm against authoritarianism. When someone starts,

when someone starts an answer to a question as to what stupid thing they what vote they've cast

or whatever. And they start with a statement of, I'm not for this or I am for this, just rest assured

what they're doing is saying the exact contradictory thing to what they just did. Hey, listen,

I am against government invading our private space and trying to make medical decisions for us and

being authoritarian. But this was needed. This is something in. Okay, so what you just did is the

exact opposite of what you claim you are for. You know, I'm against raising taxes. We're taxed

too much already. We're taxed here and we're taxed there. And I'm against raising taxes.

Now, on this particular measure right now, it's a short term deal and it's to, so you just raise

taxes. I'm not reporting on the impeachment trial in the Senate. Several of you have asked

because there's not enough that has developed just yet. And there are some things that I'm going to

slip up and say that are expected to happen before Friday that I think will be, you will find to

be very interesting. And I don't not tell you to be coy. I don't tell you because I don't want

the other side to take measures to defend themselves. Quick story. Years ago, I get a call

from a woman named Sharon in Nashville. And I'd gotten to be buddies with each of the members

of the Oak Ridge Boys independently. And she said, Mr. Barry, this is Sharon. I don't know our last

name. I'll say Walker from the country music Hall of Fame. Okay. How can I help you? The Oak
