What's your opinion on the Joelle MVP thing? I'm just curious where you fall in it. Like what's it mean to you?

Like what do you think about it? Like I feel like there's actually

different opinions on it and I'm just curious like as a sports Philly fan like what is like where what's your opinion on it?

I mean, I think you should win it. I think it deserves to win it. I think you probably should have won it last year.

I'm I mean on a basic level like do I care that much now? Like I think it's cool. You know we've only seen a couple MVP's in my lifetime in this city

and they've all been Philly's so I think I live in and Iverson. Yeah. The Iverson and then three Philly's. Yeah, and that's all I've ever seen.

So like I think it's neat but like I don't I don't care that much like I'd rather they win a second round like if you told me he can win the MVP or I'm guaranteed to win the second round playoff series

I would take the second round playoff series 100 times now is this with like they could lose in the conference finals or you don't know the I just want to see him get a second round. That's more important to me than him winning the NBA.

So other than that you know 10 to 65. Well I was going to say talk about some good advice we actually gave. Yeah, we actually gave good advice.

You by the time it closed and gave it like plus 600 and it was plus 500. We can close it like minus 2000. Yeah, he's gonna close it. He's gonna. Yeah, every lot of people gonna lose a lot of money.

All right, so here's my and B tick and I'll not try I'll try to be over over the top about it. But are you gonna be over the top? I know where you're going with this and it's very over the top.

Oh, well I wasn't gonna go. Okay, good. I'll fly around the sun of it. I just I just think like man, you know, I think it's being underappreciated in a lot of ways.

Like for a lot of reasons, hey, I think the MVP is the heart. The NBA MVP is the hardest MVP award to win. I think because in football it's almost always a quarterbacks.

So not every player is really eligible for it. In baseball there's two. Right. Like so if there was an Eastern conference MVP, you well would have won it each of the last three years arguably like maybe you know, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you figure he came in second. So yeah, so yeah, what are you saying this year? Yeah, three years in a rut. Would this be the third year?

This would be the third year. Yeah, you're right about that. So I just think like man, when you think about Philly sports and like guys that we care about and like people that we follow, like we used to say all the time.

Like Carson is one of the name we said in our lives more than anything and frankly, B. John's getting up there with like, but like,

Joel has been through it all. He's been through it all and he's been here longer than anybody else. Like Carson really wasn't here that long like brace Harper hasn't been here that long and hasn't been through much like Nick

Nab was probably the most comparable to him be in terms of just longevity and like rollercoaster of emotion and all that.

And I know it's not a championship and what James is referencing is me and him were texting about whether this can mean more or just as much as a championship.

And my opinion on that is just whatever means the most to you is what like I can't tell somebody how to feel I agree the championship means more to the city than MVP.
