The midterm election of 2022, I welcome Professor Richard Epstein, the senior fellow of the

Hoover Institution, teaches law at NYU in the University of Chicago, writing for the

Hoover Institution most recently for defining ideas of an anticipation of the midterm

election.

Of all the races across the country, all members of the House of Representatives, a third

of the Senate, and many governors races, Richard features the contest between the Republicans

and Democrats in New York State, where he teaches law and is very familiar with the politics

of New York State, which is dominantly a democratic state, a progressive democratic state,

one that is very proud of its record and its successes.

The president candidate for governor from the Democratic Party is former Lieutenant Governor

now Governor Kathy Hockel, who inherited her seat when Governor Andrew Cuomo, three

times elected Andrew Cuomo, was obliged to resign from his tundack.

Kathy Hockel comes from Buffalo, which is way outside of New York City's usual gossips

and grapevine, however she represents the rest of the state, upstate it's called New York,

which has values that are strikingly consistent with a democratic party, even centrist democratic

party.

Kathy Hockel's campaign has emphasized two things, to my reading, one is Donald Trump,

whom Kathy Hockel says dominates the Republican Party, and all Republicans must answer for

the president of the president's conduct.

The other is the dobs case of the Supreme Court having to do with the woman's right to choose.

Those are two pieces of policy mentioned again and again.
