and we're very pleased to welcome Nuri Takal. Nuri is Deputy Chairman of a group of young people

who are responsible for reporting to the United States and to the people of the United States.

The health and abuse at the same time of the weaker people of East Turkestan, Xinjiang. Nuri

is the Commissioner at the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. However,

in addition, he is now sanctioned by the People's Republic of China, along with three of his colleagues,

Nadine Mianza, Anarima Bargava, and James Carr. All four are sanctioned by the PRC. What that means,

of course, is Nuri and his colleagues are being effective in making it clear that the abuse of

the weaker people is unacceptable. Nuri, a very good evening to you. This is a tribute to your

hard work and that of your colleague. What does this mean, the sanctioning? What does it mean to you

I can't say it's easy to say it's a badger for honor, but I'm reluctant to use that common response

because I have done nearly what anyone in good conscience should do in response to the ongoing

genocide with an expectation from this brutal regime for a potential retaliation, which is the case

in my situation. I had never deliberately thought out this kind of recognition by communist China,

but I accepted as a response to the work that myself and my colleagues at U-Surf and

in Washington, D.C., around the country, perhaps around the world, have done to respond to the
