2020 I'm Jason Gibbs alongside Andrew Gribble coming up on the program today. We continue our series our new get to know between the front office

between the coaches today tight ends coach Drew Petzing and Grib's it's he's a guy that we knew way back when

about seven years ago to be exact he was in our building as an intern back today as the tight ends coach of one of the more important positions for this football team in 2020.

Yeah, you know, and for Drew, we talk about it a little bit, but you know, he's he it was interesting. I don't know if he ever imagined that he would be back in Bria, but he had a really good experience. Obviously, it started really bolted his his NFL career and for Kevin Stophanski kind of a no-brainer hire for his offensive staff, you know, worked to them closely in Minnesota for the last few years and I think it's it's interesting for

Drew and as he grows as a coach this will be his first year coaching the

tight end so it's it's it's certainly was a nice gift for him to get Austin Hooper on that first day of free agency to help out his first year, but he's learning, coaching the position.

And he's been coaching long enough though, where I think he's going to jump right into it and kind of had a good quality room with a bunch of different options in there.

Yeah, and it continued, the Christmas for the tight end room continued throughout the draft process as well. So that is a

loaded room as we talked about last week in our position rankings. Let's take a

look at some of the other news and notes from over the weekend and on a Monday

as we roll into Tuesday and continue on with the Brown's virtual off season

about a week and a half left of that.

Jadebien Clowney, the man that will not go away in terms of news and things that keep popping up.

Albert Breyer in his column this morning, I should say Monday morning on the clowny sweepstakes and he basically says the

situation continues to be complicated he thinks it's of note that the Browns are willing to pay a good rate. I've heard they'd be okay going to the 15 million dollar range on a one year deal to get him and he remains unsigned per breer that tells me two things one the

clownies financial desires are still a barrier to getting a deal done and two that

those desires may come on a sliding scale based on destination.
