We were talking about the MVP race in the first hour, Brock Purdy versus Lamar Jackson.

They're one and two Purdy the favorite right now.

And Lamar Jackson number two and very different circumstances for both of them.

Lamar, huge star, Heisman Trophy winner in college and already has an MVP is the focal point

of his offense, makes it go.

But numbers aren't very huge.

Brock Purdy, Mr. Irrelevant, the last player chosen.

You know, played at Iowa State was good, but, you know, didn't like the world on fire.

And thrown in last year as a starter due to injury and has been great since then.

Statistically, he's having the best year of any quarterback in the NFL,

and he's played great in the biggest games.

He's actually been possibly better, probably better in the big games that he has in

some of the games against lesser teams.

So those are the two front runners, at least right now, with three weeks left for the MVP.

But a lot of people, Rob, including you, still have big questions about Brock Purdy.
